Herbie's went above and beyond to make sure my birthday brunch was perfect! From securing my reservation via email with Daniel which was seamless. Our server, Derrick was amazing. He was so attentive, personable, and great at his job! I will definitely ask for him for my next visit!

Am I a true foodie? I had never been to Herbies so here we are. Located in the heart of Clayton, a timeless spot with sophisticated decor and an amazing patio. Herbies is a gigantic restaurant with many private dining rooms so business meetings can be done here in a snap. The menu at Herbie's offers tons of options. The southwest corn dip is an absolute must. It was my favorite. The fries were freshly crispy and thin cut. Then, I had to do the Niçoise salad. #stlouispescatarianapproved it was really good. It had a lemon vinaigrette so it was more citrusy than I’m used to but I loved it. The service at Herbie's is exceptional. The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. I will be back.

The service was excellent, my steak was tender and everything was delicious. The bengients was not good though. I loved the drinks also.

The service was great! My waitress was so sweet and accommodating. I got a mocktail that was absolutely delicious and more creative than the typical club soda and juice most places tend to offer. The French onion soup was great. The only thing that keeps me from giving it a perfect is the fact that I only had one small piece of bread in mine. Ceasar salad was good but nothing super special. I got the French dip sandwich as my main. I didn’t care for it but I thinks it’s a preference thing and not a quality thing. Overall I would go again and I had a pleasant experience.

The service was amazing. The food was mediocre at best. We came for brunch. My eggs Benedict was not so good. There was only maybe 2 teaspoons of hollandaise sauce. The eggs were cooked perfectly. There was one thin slice of overcooked ham paired with a very thick. This made for a very dry benedict. The potatoes were very crisp as I asked, but they were bland. It took a crazy amount of salt to correct the bland flavor. The salad served with this combination was very sweet. I think it would be better with a crisp acidic vinaigrette. Overall it was just meh. The grits had amazing texture, but needed salt. Lots of salt and pepper and butter. They were billed on the menu as White Cheddar? Grits. They were strangely orange and there was only a faint cheese essence. However the coffee and the bacon were incredible. I think there may be better things to order here.

Herbie’s is one of the best restaurants in Clayton! It’s perfect for any occasion - date night, work meal, happy hour. The menu is filled with delicious staples, like Truffle Fries and Brussels Sprouts, and seasonal items, like Coq Au Vin! Be sure to save room for their bread pudding!!
